Purpose

This file provides specifications which define how peak-flow data in the accompanying WATSTORE formatted text file are processed in the U.S. Geological Survey PeakFQ version 7.4 computer program for peak-flow frequency analyses. These two files can be used to produce the peak-flow frequency information published in this data release.
